Hospital Management (BBA)

Hospital management is the field relating to leadership, management, and administration of public health systems, health care systems, hospitals, and hospital networks in all the primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors. Hospital administrators are individuals or groups of people who act as the central point of control within hospitals. These individuals may be previous or current clinicians, or individuals with other healthcare backgrounds. There are two types of administrators, generalists and specialists. Generalists are individuals who are responsible for managing or helping to manage an entire facility. Specialists are individuals who are responsible for the efficient and effective operations of a specific department such as policy analysis, finance, accounting, budgeting, human resources, or marketing.

BBA in Hospital Management is a three-year undergraduate program. The program is open for the candidates who have finished their 12th examination. The three-year bachelor degree program involves all the activities related to health services management. With the increase in demand for skilled professionals for managing and administering the health services, the competition in the sector has also increased.

BBA in Hospital Management is divided into three years with each year consisting of two semesters year. First five semesters will provide theoretical knowledge to the students while the final semester will include a six-month training at top hospitals. The program will also provide training in areas such as operations, marketing, finance management, HR management and insurance related to the healthcare industry.
